Bill Patterson, Clinical Hypnotherapist Toorak – Psychotherapist Victoria
What is the difference between hypnotherapy and psychotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is used to create change through suggestions, while the client is in a natural altered state of consciousness.
Psychotherapy is an alliance between therapist and client, where the use of both creative minds can arrive at an outcome that leads to therapeutic change.
I may use one or both therapeutic approaches in client sessions. There is nothing better than seeing people make lasting changes they initially thought were overwhelming or impossible.
